Our Diabetes Management program goal is to help you manage your diabetes. There are two types of diabetes. Type 1 and Type 2. People who have type 1 diabetes need to take insulin every day. This is the less common type of diabetes and is sometimes called juvenile diabetes. People who have type 2 diabetes can use diet and physical activity to control their diabetes. Most people will also need to take diabetes pills or insulin. Type 2 diabetes is very common and is sometimes called adult onset diabetes.
